Nice pale straw-like yellow with golden highlights. Crisp, powerful, intensely fruity nose with aromas of citrus fruits, white peaches, and pineapple. Fresh on the palate. A round, ample wine with good structure and balance; flavors of white fruits. The oak gives good structure, but is not overwhelming. Nice long finish. Overall, an elegant and highly refined wine. An excellent Graves in its price range.
Château Langlet Blanc - AOP Graves
91 - Wilfred Wong of Wine.com
The 2024 Château Langet hits all the right notes. It captures the soul of Sauvignon Blanc—crisp and focused, yet layered with tropical vibrancy, straddling the line between Old World restraint and New World exuberance. Its enticing mix of citrus, spice, and fresh herbs makes it more than just a refresher; it’s a thinking wine. Pair it with Thai green curry, whether made with shrimp or tofu, and let the wine’s brightness temper the heat while complementing the curry’s fragrant complexity.
